Ark the Lizard (Maria Robotnik)

This is a more developed design of my previous deviation which features my Maria Robotnik reincarnation concept: [link]. I've adjusted some of her features while giving her clothing and a colour scheme to work with. I've done my best to retain a lot of Biolizard-esque features, almost having my own try at creating a Mobian Biolizard in the process, which I'm pretty pleased with. For her name, I decided to go with something else instead of just calling her Maria. While Shadow understands that spiritually she is Maria's successor, he would want her to have her own identity. He names her "Ark" based on the Space Colony where both Maria and the Biolizard originated, while also subtly implying the "Arch" in "Archangel" for her namesake.

Her clothes I based loosely on her original clothes and inversed the colour scheme, while also drawing reference to Honey the Cat's style of clothing, who I've deemed would have become the leading fashion designer in the world 10 years along the line. Intentionally I've also stylized her clothing on Honey's Candy variation. Her head accessory is a bit random, but I needed to have something there since it looked empty without it. I've added a ring attached to it to represent a halo of sorts, since people commonly consider Maria to have become an Angel after her death, so I play around with that idea fashionably as well.
