Disguises - Chrysalis and Mephilesby *Cylent-Nite

I have not posted anything in over two weeks, which somewhat alarmed me. So last night I woke up in the middle of the night and did some drawing, which got me trying to finish up some of my other projects lying around. Eventually I got to the point where I started procrastinating with what I was doing and ended up doing this randomly instead!

I was browsing around and noticed that among the Sonic art community, MLP art is becoming more prevalent among even Sonic artists; It almost feels mandatory to be into it just as much. I enjoy the show, but I'm not as passionate about it as I am with Sonic. Still, I do enjoy drawing ponies on occassion, I like to tinker with drawing them in my own style as you can see here. Here is a random idea that came to mind, since both Mephiles the Dark and Queen Chrysalis are very similar, especially in regards to taking on a form that isn't their own. So it was fun drawing Princess Cadence and Shadow the Hedgehog, except not really drawing those characters themselves!

I did this in my usual half-assed messy style, since I was feeling a bit impatient with it. I drew it on a very huge canvas, so the original image has a very large resolution, this one here is about 25% the size. But it was fun at least, I used it as an opportunity to experiment with a bunch of colouring styles. This took about 5 hours or so of procrastinating, and ended up just finishing because I gave up. I really should put in more time and effort, and have more patience with my stuff. I still kind of like it, though!
