Sonic Origins - Damek the Precursor (Black Doom)

Really simple design I decided to doodle before work today. This here is Damek the Precursor; basically Black Doom before he becomes Black Doom in my Sonic Expanse continuity.

In my Sonic Expanse universe, I elaborate more on the race mentioned in Sonic Chronicles known as "The Precursors". As mentioned in my previous JUDGEMENT submission: fav.me/d74c2ph, I've detailed that Doom's Eye is the "true" Black Doom, and that the body that Black Doom uses is actually a host body that Doom's Eye is parasitically using, which is Damek here.

Before Doom's corruption of the species, the Precursors were once a very peaceful worker race, residing within the Twilight Cage and serving their god, Argus. One day, a particular Precursor who is the meekest of them all appears bearing the "Black Arms of Argus", which signifies great importance to their species. This eventually draws the attention of "Black Doom", who targets Damek and deceives him into bearing his body. As Doom, Damek leads the Precursors against Argus, and become the first and only race to ever escape the Twilight Cage, eventually becoming the Black Arms race through Doom's corruption.


I have previously shown a design for a younger Black Doom that I use in my Sonic Origins: The Black Messiah storyline. So this older sketch is Black Doom circa. 2,000 years ago, while this current image of Damek would be something along the lines of 10,000 years ago.

Anyways, a pretty choppy description at present, since I'm trying to rush so I can get ready for work. So I'll have to tweak this more later!
