TAURUS

Completely random quick drawing because I haven't posted anything in a while. This is not Eclipse, but consequentially trying to come up with a Mobian-esque Black Arms design immediately turns out similar in appearance. This is meant to be pretty close to the idea of Shadow having a "brother", haha.

Firstly, please read the above submission's description for a full understanding of Shadow's origin in my canon.

Taurus' creation occurs a little while after the finalization of Shadow. In frustration at Gerald's assassination and the capture of Shadow by the humans, Black Doom takes it upon himself to create a replacement using leftover samples gathered from Gerald's research on the Black Arms-infused Olgilvie. Using his own Black Arms science to create a working vessel for the perfect soldier, he moulds together a Black Arms Mobian creature, with it's single glowing green eye being formed from the genetic memory of Olgilvie Parlouzer's re-formed eye. The creature upon awakening in an attempt to mutter it's own name, "Terios", is able to only mumble short syllables, "tuh... ros...", earning him the name "Taurus" as a placeholder title.

Despite Doom's initial success in creating a Mobian soldier, Taurus soon displeases his creator when he is unable to maintain his sleek form due to both mental and physical stress, causing him to bloat into a bulbous monstrosity. Doom realizes how gifted Gerald truly was for being able to create the perfect Shadow having blended Black Arms science with that of human science's genetic engineering, and the application of Inhibitor Rings to maintain Shadow's form, which Doom lacked for Taurus' creation. Regardless of the failure surrounding Taurus, over the course of the next 50 years while Shadow is left on Earth, the prototype experiment is kept by Doom as his main enforcer. Bahaha. This is an idea I've had for a little while now but decided to play around with it a bit more recently. Obviously this is just playing with the idea that Black Bull is a little bit more special to Doom compared to all of his other minions and giving him a bit more of a worthwhile origin. Also, the other idea I wanted to play with was the idea that as a Mobian, Taurus himself is by technicality a "Porcupinefish" (aka blowfish, pufferfish, etc), and that this sleeker form is Black Bull in his normal state, but due to being unstable he mostly takes on his Black Bull appearance because he's constantly stressed (especially at the idea of fighting his superior "brother").

Anyways, need sleep, I did all of this in my half-dead stupor, so my imagination is all out of whack.

Edit 25/04/15: I've tweaked Taurus' backstory a bit, as I decided I thought it would be better if Taurus was created -after- Shadow, I like the idea of him being Shadow's younger "brother", hahaha.
