Whip and Chip (Dark Gaia and Light Gaia)

It's Sunday evening and I wanted to post something before I go to bed and face a busy week of work once again, haha. This is something I whipped up rather quickly, this is an idea I've wanted to doodle for a while now but only finally got an idea for it recently (after posting up my previous Dark Gaia-related piece, Dessa [UNLEASHED]). This is Chip (Light Gaia) along with my fanon design for a Mobian Dark Gaia named Whip (based on Chip's concept name).

Anyways, this isn't really anything related to any of my canon or alternate timeline-related storylines (although, I might borrow her design for my Earth-3 timeline when I've started developing that more). This is just dabbling in what it might actually be like if she (Dark Gaia) actually had a small Mobian look like Chip's dog form. I've based her body frame on Chip's while borrowing elements from my Dessa [UNLEASHED] design, as well as traits from one of the concept designs for Chip here: static4.wikia.nocookie.net/__c… (bottom left). I've also emphasized on her looking a bit more like a little red devil, in contrast to Chip looking a little bit angelic, haha.

Overall the piece isn't meant to be taken too seriously, just something cute that I wanted to do for fun (and for the sake of posting things; seriously checking my dA keeps me sane during work, haha!). Enjoy!


Edit: It's Monday morning now and I had some time to kill before work, haha. I've tweaked and cleaned the image slightly, so hopefully it looks better and clearer now. Here's how it looked previously: sta.sh/01p0row7kt25

Edit 2: Now back from work and I've edited the picture again. I've tweaked Whip's colour scheme very slightly because the contrast didn't appeal to me. I've made her main pink tone a bit lighter, while the gem and wings are lighter and slightly more orange.
